With the very hot and getting hotter temps today, opted to avoid a hike with the weather forecast. We decided to take the pooch to one of the local Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy preserves. Not a long hike but it got us outside and gave Bookah a place to run and swim with a few other pooches.
We'd been considering joining the M-H Conservancy before but today sealed the deal. Ran into some trail maintainers and we're going to join and adopt one of the preserves and help maintain the trails.
The organization is constantly buying and preserving land around where we live and it's time we supported the effort.
