Hiked with Dick, Jo, and Bookah. Perfect weather- sunny, not too hot, no humidity, no bugs and a nice breeze.
Started up the ski trail all the way to the west on the way up W. Cave. Then over the ridge to Cave Mt for a leisurely lunch looking at the peaks.
Deer, wildflowers, ferns, mountain views and a couple of easy 'whacks' if you can call ski area hiking that doesn't have formal trails a bushwhack.
As hiking days go, an 11 on the 1-10 scale.
Gotta go back in foliage season.
