Eliza Brook Shelter via Reel Brook Trail

Reel brook is muddy in a few places, but in good shape. The new Eliza Brook Shelter is beautiful - the AMC gang did a great job on the shelter, kitchen and the new tent pads. Looking forward to coming back for an overnight.

Great hike for dogs. Lots of water to drink and splash in, lots of good smells. One of the dogs did seem very nervous (and my dog very alert) on a stretch of trail just before the power lines, though - both on the way up and the way back. Wonder what might be lurking in the woods?

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
