I heard something about the Gale River Tr being rerouted to bypass the difficult stream crossing. Is that real or a rumor? I haven't seen anything online to substantiate that.

It is real but I'm not sure where they're at with it. The new section was about 3/4's or better of the way cut last November. Still needed a lot of work at that time but it was easy to follow. I'd think they're close to completing it by now.

Very real - the re-route was almost done when I walked it last month. Last word was that it should be open by sometime this summer.
