3 hour hike, RT 2 NH/ME ???

I have 3 hours to enjoy tomorrow morning while traveling east on RT 2. Any suggestions of good hikes? Summits preferred.

Mt. Surprise is pretty nice. I think its on the Carter-Moriah trail.

Summits in 90 Minutes? In that neighborhood, you're looking for the mouse that roared! How about Pine Mountain, off of the Pinkham "B" road (Dolly Copp area)? It caps the northern Pressies to the north, and might fit your time constraints.

"Stock Farm" Mountain? Mount Hastings? Caribou Mountain? Don't know how fast your pace is, but these are all on or near Route 2 on the Wild River block.

Thanks for the help. Dilly-dallying in the morning plus an impatient family whittled my window down to 2 hours. I found some ridge trail which provided a workout and lovely views of forest. So much for big plans. But, I made the Maine ferry and am now island bound for a few days.
