I can't find the post but somebody wanted to know if Tripoli Road (exit 31, I-93) is still open. As of 6.30 p.m. on E-day (Nov. 2), it remains ungated.

Mohammed's peakbagging website road closure page has that information .... except the data right now is for last spring's opening. Oh mountain guru, lord of the peaks, genuine gem of the peakbagging webworld, will you be updating this for closures?

Sorry, can't answer to any of the callings above, but I will be driving by Tripoli Rd. again either late tomorrow night or Friday a.m. and will post status after that. Or you can ask the USFS. If you're Franconia-bound soon, the clouds are lifting now and the snow-on-tree line is around 2500-3000'.
