GREENFIELD, N.H. -- New trails designed to accommodate people with physical disabilities have opened in New Hampshire.

Wider, hard-packed trails with no obstacles make experiencing the outdoors easier for people in wheelchairs. The project was undertaken by the Crotched Mountain Foundation.

Out in Rainier, they pave the trails! :eek: :confused:
 
Great. But how i read it it is a first in NH? Isn't the path to Diane's Bath fit also? just asking, I am clueless in trail specification for this.

Crotched Mtn has had accessible trails for years, I have helped build some of them. And several WMNF trails such as Rail N River are alleged to be accessible. There are just some additional ones.
