Trail was wonderfully dry, particularly the rooty areas before the ponds. Path free of blowdowns from trailhead to summit, though narrow and overgrown on the herdpath just above the slide.
Special Equipment needed: Bug repellent and extra water.
Spectacular views at the pond; had lunch at Norcross Pond's rock dam. We took the time to splash around in the ponds and at the cascade to cool off.
