Stony Brook is in surprisingly great shape. The brook had obviously covered the trail in several places during the storm but no washouts and little debris, and no damage to the two bridges. A few blowdowns here and there but all cleared or notched for easy passage. Wet in places but nothing terrible. Brook crossing was an easy rock hop. Carter-Moriah was in great shape as well to the summit spur.
Flag was flying on the summit, but could not pick out any flags on other peaks on beautiful clear day.
