Of course, the severe damage to Sawyer River Road is still there (and likely to be so for quite awhile).
The Sawyer Pond Trail (from the Sawyer River Rd to Sawyer Pond) was overall in good condition. There was one major blowdown which required a short bushwhack to circumvent.
And, since it was a rainy day, there naturally was mud, plus slippery rocks and roots.
