Garfield parking?

Can anyone tell me if the road to the Garfield Trail is open? I am hoping to be able to park at the trailhead. Last time I was there the bridges were out. Thanks for any info.

The whole Gale River Loop Rd. is open with new bridges. You could always get to the trailhead you just had to go the long way around past the Gale River TH. Something I learned the hard way in '08 after walking the road with a full pack, only to see cars parked where I wanted too.
