trails: ski trails
conditions: ski trails snow free with frost and rime higher up. ground partially frozen in the morning even down low. some ice on shaded ledges. there is still a sign near the new lift at mittersill lot 1 stating that hiking is prohibited on the ski slopes. you'll have to make your own decision about how seriously you want to take that. i had no issues today.
equipment: just the typical seasonal clothing.
comments: real beautiful day. great views to the surrounding peaks and real clear looks into vermont. pretty cold up high. enough so that my facial hair started to freeze up for the first time this season. nice.
