i haven't been up in the past few weeks and was wonderin' if they were gonna be open on thanksgiving day for a preprandial hike. what ya'll think (or better yet, know?).

Jefferson Notch Road

I was on it Saturday the 20th & while the top of the notch was pretty icy with an inch or two of snow, nothing being careful in a Forester found even remotely challenging. They were supposed to get some icy, mixed precip before turning to rain on Sunday down low. As of Monday only Bear Notch had been closed.
 
hmmm ... the AMC is offended by something being constructed in Crawford Notch ? :confused:
 
Bretton woods

I'll bet Bretton woods isn't too thrilled either, they used half the Mt Clinton road for cross country skiing. I thought they used the railroad bed as well.
