Trails: 19-Mile, Carter Dome, Carter-Moriah
Conditions: 19-Mile and the Carter Dome Trail to Zeta are now solidly packed. Two of us broke out Carter Moriah to Carter Dome, Hight, and then back down to Zeta. We saw three people coming up to Hight when we had stopped to saw out a broader hole in a huge blowdown. A group of 4 we had passed earlier in the day had plans to visit Dome & Hight via the hut (we did not see them when on the summits). Back at Zeta we saw tracks heading toward S. Carter and there were another 8-9 hikers approaching Zeta as we were descending. So, I would expect that all of these trails are now broken out but snowshoes are recommended.
