Davis Path is well packed up to the Mt Crawford spur, probably bare-bootable. I broke it out to the junction with the Mt Parker Trail, took the Mt Parker Tr up to the height of land, then crashed around looking for the summit.
Snow depth is around 1', packed by a large hiker going out and back. One decent snow storm will cover it over.
Necessary equipment: Snowshoes, warm layers that shed snow, lots of ice cold resolve.
