Well...more of a "lolli-pop" than a loop but we're splitting hairs now
Crawford Path was like a perfect Microspike or alternate "light traction," highway up to treeline.
I brought the snowshoes and 'pons to leave the option open for me to head out to Ike, but decided against it for time reasons and opted for a leisurely loop back down.
The packed out route up Webster Cliff trail to the summit swings around left of the summer route as of yesterday. Webster Cliff and Mizpah Cut-Off were both easily managed with only the Micros.
Great afternoon out, by the time I reached the views Washington and Jeff were socked in. But, Eisenhower and most everything else were visible. Great views and cool lookin' lenticular clouds over the summits.
Met a group of four nice fellas who had come from Mt. Jackson. If you're out there in internetland, thanks for taking my photo and good talkin!!
