Welcome to the new Views From The Top, now available at www.vftt.org. This thread will be for official announcements relating to the new site.
* We are now on the latest version of the database software and vBulletin software.
* We are using a shared hosting service for now to save money.
* We are going to continue to use the rules that Darren established for the old site for the time being.
* I made one quick pass over the database, replacing URLs in posts that referred to "viewsfromthetop.com/forms" and replaced them with "vftt.org/forums". This should mean most references are still valid.
* I left a redirect at "viewsfromthetop.com/forums" to "vftt.org/forums", so as long as Darren keeps the old site and the redirect intact, old links and bookmarks will come here.
YOU SHOULD UPDATE YOUR BOOKMARKS IMMEDIATELY
There will be a separate thread for questions and / or reporting problems.
Please note: I do not have access to my e-mail during normal working hours, and access to the board is available but limited. It won't look good if I spend my first few weeks working on the site, so, I ask for your patience while we work out the kinks.
