Dhaulagiri—at 8,167m (26,795'), is the world's seventh highest mountain and the highest mountain entirely in Nepal. Don't miss this opportunity to hear legendary Austrian climber Kurt Diemberger speak about the first ascent of The White Mountain, which he accomplished in 1960. Kurt will present his show on March 2, the evening before the AAC's Annual Benefit Dinner, and just two weeks before his 80th birthday.

I saw a different talk of his a few years back. He speaks well in English and there aren't many from his generation of Himalayan climbers who are even still alive.
