Weekend Bookends - Eagle Mountain & Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge - 2/12/12 & 2/14/12

We go two great small hikes on either end of a great three day stay in Jackson from last Sunday to Tuesday. We were treated to beautiful winter views both on Eagle Mountain and at Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge. In between we had a great winter hike on Mt Cabot and I'll post that story later today.

These have been on my radar for a long time, but we have not visited either of them. As Emma ages, we're looking at more hikes like these. Thanks for posting!

Thanks Kevin. I've thought about Pondicherry for a long time but hadn't even heard of Eagle Mountain before Sunday - just picked it randomly off the map. They were both great. Can't wait to visit Pondicherry again in other seasons!
