Conditions: Road has thin cover and is developing bare spots in the sun; trails all well packed. Use care to stay on packed path- if you step off you post-hole deeply.
Special Equipment: Micro spike were very helpful. I carried showshoes, but didn't use/need them.
Comments: It was a blue-bird sky day with the trees still covered from the recent snowfall. Beautiful! Warming temps were melting snow rapidly. Sunny spots on Hale Brook were quilt soft and the snow balled up underfoot.
