Trail Conditions: From parking lot to summit of Mt. Height well packed. From summit of Mt. Height to summit of Carter Dome and down Carter Dome Trail to a bit above Zeta Pass a total mess, soft with both bare booters and snowshoers postholing. A group of about ten in snowshoes failed to smooth it out.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes - useful, snowshoes essential in parts of trail.
