Date of Hike: 4/8/2012 and 4/10/2012
Trail Conditions: Both trails relatively dry (compared to their usual state). Upper section of both trails icy.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes -- useful for upper section in conifers
Comments: Loop described in Mount Pemi Loop. After passing under I93 on the descent I continued straight through the woods (about 50 feet) to Rt. 3, saving about ¼ mile. I refuse to call that a bushwhack
Update: Returned on Tuesday 4/10, much of the ice had melted, rest was soft enough that I did not use my spikes.
