Snow was dry and slabby at the start of the day and soft and mushy by the end. Didnt like crossing the slide path in the morning but its seemed alot more stable in the afternoon descending. Trail conditions varied with drifts, in spots and bare rocks in others. First tracks through some of the drifts was tiring. Got to the summit at 9:30. 50mph winds were transporting alot of snow early, but the sun and warm seemed to tack down alot of the snow available for transport by afternoon.
A note on tux: looking in from lions head all the crevasses apeared to be completly hidden by the recent snow.
