Cool breezy day to be out on several trails new to me. More ice up high than i had expected (left traction in the car) but generally easily worked around. as Bryan noted in his comments for a similar hike in the same area today, some steep and rugged terrain. trails in generally good shape. not many people out - saw 12. hiking poles are always helpful.
