Trail was in great shape overall. There were a number of blow downs, especially from Goddard shelter to Rt 11/20 but they were mostly small. A couple larger ones on the way up to Goddard seem semi-permanent. Not too much mud except in the places where the trail tends to stay wet from steams or poor drainage. Black flies were stirring the first day at the TH and lower slopes but not biting yet. Second and third day were damp and overcast so they will probably pop out again the next sunny day. Saw no one for the entire three days. Great to be out on the LT again.
