Was in EMS Peterborough this morning for the Gear Up sale. Noticed they had a few pairs of Lightning Ascents, yellow and black frame on the clearance rack marked down to $179.00. EMS clerk informed me that another 20% would be taken off at the register as part of the Gear Up 20% off sale. So new lightning ascents for about $145.00 pretty good deal if you are inclined. Were about 4-5 pairs left total.
EMS is also starting a Reward Program, similar to REI dividends program. They are registering folks now and the program kicks off in the fall. Clerk I was talking with didn't know much for details so at this time I don't have any more info than it is coming this fall. Whether they discontinue all the sales in lieu of a dividend, one can only guess at this juncture.
