Special Equipment Required: Bug Juice and Zip off Long Pants or a change to shorts
Comments: Great weather to finish the Nehantic Trail. Trying to complete the maze of Blue Blazed Trails in SE CT. Check off Pequot, Narragansett and now Nehantic. Only Canonicus, Quinebaug and Pachaug remain. View of spring foliage and swamp from top of Mt. Misery was nice. Good footing throughout. For early am, it helps to have on a hat in the woods to pierce all the spiderwebs. Some evidence of ATV/Enduro trail damage where the Enduro trail intersects non-rocky sections of the hiking trail.
