Too funny, I saw that today, too. I suspect it just means an exercise was done, perhaps wind or weather resistance. That list is "activities" and someone along the line made it be "bases."

Don't forget Ladies and Gentlemen, the entire White Mountain National Forest is designated as a "Military Operations Area". This entitles the military to practice flying anywhere (and everywhere) in the Whites.

The great thing is, if they're flying 1000 feet(approx) or more above you, you'll never hear or see them.

The WASP weighs one pound, and has a wing span of a little over two feet.

The RAVEN is a little bigger, checking in with a wing span of 55 inches (4 feet, 7 inches), and weighs 4.2 Lbs.

I'll make a bet the summit of Mount Washington is only being used to house the radio repeater and omni-directional antenna used to control the drone.
The operations trailer can be parked anywhere in the world, with a satellite up-link.

Ain't technology wonderful???
