We (John & June) recently did a hike up to Tuckerman Ravine just to look for flowers. No peakbagging allowed. Even though the summit of Washington is right there. Still, no peakbagging allowed. We went with our friends and fellow VFTT'ers (at least one of them is anyway) Audrey, Pat and Maria. We had a great day for it. A little breezy but it kept the bugs away.

Three Toothed Cinquefoil.

Wonderful shots! I'm amazed at the variety in the ravine right now, being so close to July. Thanks for sharing them!

On my hike above tree line yesterday I thought back to this Trip Report several times as I was now able to identify a few alpine flowers. Thanks for the lesson. :)
