Beaver Brook Trail to Moosilauke with a dog?

We want to do some red lining and climb/descend Moosilauke via Beaver Brook Trail - have read about the steepness, ladders, of the lower section. Has anyone done this with a dog?

Yes. I led a hike up it with a South African ridgeback (medium size dog) who didn't seem to have any trouble.

Marlie and I went this way in June of '11. She is a 55 lb Boxer/German Shepherd mix and had an easier time than I did. There was nothing too tricky, just steep.
