Date of Hike:7/8/12
Trail Conditions: Cant ask for much better. There is minimal blazing and some side paths on the rocky section soon after the turn on the Zeacliff from Ethan Pond trail, Just head back towards Zealand and the side paths go away and the main trail bed is obvious
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: I joined a local "redliner" who needed Zeacliff Trail. I had never hiked it. A friend who also no longer hikes to any known list joined us. It is fun trail. I didnt find the uphill as daunting as some folks do, its a steady moderate climb with two spots where some minor climbing up a ledge is required. Plenty of handholds. We started at 7:30 and was down by 1:30 with a total of 1/2 hour of roughly 1/2 hour of breaks.
A nice hike to get some views on a Sunday.
