Trail Conditions: Mostly dry, thankfully, given the cap's rock walls and talus fields above. Tiny bit of mud at the base of one wall, but nothing to crow about.
Special Equipment Required: Good boots. Poles might be nice, but I never used mine.
Comments: Great hike - beautiful weather conditions today:blue skies and warm weather, light winds, and dry rocks. Had planned to go Sunday, but wet weather (fog, etc) compelled me to delay until today. Also: 3rd time on this trail over several years; never tire of the trail or views. Took the South trail to Gulfside off Jefferson's summit cone to add to the views. Aside: No Grey Jays at the first open outlook (the one with the keeper holes in the boulders). The Jays must have moved onto better picnic'ing grounds!
