Trails: Livermore Tr, Mt Tripyramid Tr

Trail Conditions: All trails were in good shape with little mud. All water crossings were low and easy. We went up the North Slide, across the ridge, and down the South Slide. Both slides were dry and easy to navigate.

Special Equipment: Grippy shoes.

Comments: This was a fun 11 mile loop with 3000' of elevation gain. The Livermore Tr provided a good warm up before the steep climb up to North Tripyramid. If you like rock scrambles you'll love this trail. The condition and traction on the North Slide is as good as it gets right now but could be quite challenging with some rain. There were numerous illegal campsites along the ridge and evidence of multiple wood fires. The South Slide was loose and gravely as usual and a path that snakes it's way along the slide it starting to form. There is a section of fractured ledge in the middle of the slide that looks like it could let loose after some hard rain. The southern section of the Mt Tripyramid Tr is soft and smooth. A welcome feature after the rough slide.
