Has anyone been on the road to Mt. Abraham recently? My concern is for my 12 year old, lower clearance nissan altima (not the newer style) with more rust on its underside than the titanic at the moment making it up that road and back without incurring damage. Would it make it?

I think you'll be fine. I was up there a couple weeks ago and friends who met me made it in regular passenger cars. There were a couple deepish holes but if you take your time you should be able to drive around or straddle them.

There was good parking for five cars just before the twin bridges that no longer exist. After you ford the streams that the bridges used to cross, take the road that immediately goes right. You'll reach the old trailhead in 10-15 minutes.
