Trail Conditions: Huntington Ravine Trail is in ok to decent shape to the floor of the ravine, usual roots and rocky footing with some very minor mud. The Cutler River provides a good water source. Below 'The Fan' (open boulder field) the trail has some huge boulders to navigate around and over, lots of fun for experienced hikers but can be time consuming if it's not your thing, just watch your foot placement and you'll be fine. The trail cuts across the fan diagnolly, keep your eye out for the yellow blazes or you might wander up the fan too much. Above the fan until the first rock scramble the trail is overgrown but easy to follow for the most part, look for yellow blazes when the trail comes across any big rocks. As for the rock scrambles up the slab, it's steep so just use caution and follow the blazes and arrows, look for handholds and footing to help you up in the middle of the first scramble. Alpine Garden and Lion Head Trails are in excellent shape!

Comments: Huntington Ravine Trail has always been a favorite of mine, we had perfect weather which made for a great day with awesome views! Click here for pictures
