Trail Conditions: Normal summer conditions, meaning mostly dry with an occasional wet or muddy spot, but nothing remarkable. On Mt. Kinsman Trail there was one large tree branch (huge) that fell straight down onto the trail and is standing, looking a lot like a big tree planted right in the trail. Passage is just fine, though, and it's stable. It'd be a big job to safely remove it so I imagine it'll be there for a while. There was easy-under blowdown as well further up. On Kinsman Ridge Trail there was also an easy-under blowdown if I recall correctly. All crossings easy.

Special Equipment Used: None.

Other: Bugs, none; foliage, some -- just a little.

Comments: This hike I made with some Facebook friends going by the name of Croo Hikers. It was fun. Got a few minutes of rain but it was an otherwise good day. We did have some limited views of Cannon, the Cannonballs, Franconia Range, and surrounding landscape. Also checked out Bald Peak... cool diversion! Nice hike.
