Road (Stratton Brook Pond) is in good shape. Most park at the mtn bike trail junction (could hold quite a few cars but was empty on Sunday), but you can with clearance get all the way down to the brook crossing which saves a bit over a half mile. The crossing is very easy right now with lots of rocks and low water. Followed the road for an easy flat/gradual climb to the Fire Warden's, Horns Pond Trail Junction. Fire Warden's is in good shape. Some mud but usually had logs or rocks for crossing. Lots of great steps. From AT intersection at col we ascended Avery. Back to col then off on AT to West Peak. Great trail conditions. Nice trip over to South Horn then a real quick trip over to North. Back to AT and down to the Horn Pond campsite. Side trip to pond. Horns Ponds Trail is very nice! Easy on the legs, great scenery and lots of new trail work (steps and water bars).
