Trails: Bald Mountain Notch Trail; connecting path to Old Summer Club Trail; Old Summer Club Trail to Rowell Link Trail; Rowell Link Trail back up to Bald Mountain Notch Trail and out.
Parked on Percy Rd. in Stark right near the trailhead and there are parking spots nearby too..Bald Mt. Notch trail is a wide snowmachine trail with a few grassy spots and a new sturdy bridge shortly before the trail diverges right (well marked, just take a peek!!)..trail still pretty wide and minimal obstructions, couple muddy spots..
Connecting path goes left shortly after an old lumber camp clearing...turns into a wide gravel road and then on the right another wide gravel road which is the Old Summer Club Trail...wide snowmachine trail leads to Rowell Link jct..
Rowell Link is a wide grassy road and climbs easily then goes right off the road (marked "Bald Mt. Trail") then heads through the woods (bridge over brook still in good shape) back up to jct with BMNT and connector...just a few muddy spots on the trails and numerous small blowdowns just needed to step over...one only to climb over...all turns and jcts marked well with the Cohos yellow markers/blazes..will be back to bushwhack around Bald Mt area..!!
