Trails: Guinea Pond, Black Mnt. Pond, Algonquin, Bennett St., Flat Mnt. Pond
Trail Conditions: Trails are in good shape, 4 spots to note. The Black Mountain Pond Trail near the Black Mountain Pond can be a little confusing, when you reach the area were everyone camps above the pond the trail heads left and skirts down towards the pond along the west edge of the pond. When heading down the Bennett Street Trail there was no sign at the junction where the Gleason Trail turns right and heads down. There is a huge blowdown on the Flat Moutain Pond Trail, a trail worker was out there with an axe slowly chomping it up. There is one section along the Guinea Pond Trail that skirts along a bever pond that has flooded the bog bridge across the trail, you have to bushwhack around it to the right, very wet and muddy.
Comments: This is a great loop hike, we did it in the rain so missed out on the views so save it for a good weather day to get the whole experience. Pics / Report
