Date of Hike: Friday, October 5th

Trails: Pemi Bike Path, Basin Bushwhack, Liberty Spring, Flume Slide, Franconia Ridge, Greenleaf, Old Bridle Path

Trail Conditions: Lots of leaves covering mud spots, roots, and rocks making for slippery conditions on trails below treeline. Franonia Ridge Trail and Greenleaf Trail above treeline in excellent shape. Basin Bushwhack easy to follow if you know where to get on it off the Pemi Bike Path. The Bike Path was loaded with leaves so use caution while walking it to give bikers a chance to slow down on the leaves. Flume Slide was soaking wet and had wet leaves stuck to it making for some tricky spots, use caution and you'll be fine, if not you can always bypass the tough spots by heading into the woods if you get scared.

Comments: Awesome hike, the Franconia Ridge Trail above treeline never ever gets old! Always a wide variety of hikers and dogs out there on a good weather day. Foliage was phenomenal and the Flume Slide was a different 'fun' experience when soaking wet :) Report / Pictures
