That's funny. I work for a county highway department and years ago a person called requesting that a deer crossing sign be put up because several deer were getting hit by cars in the area.

My coworker told the person that we don't put up deer crossing signs anymore because we were having a hard time getting the deer to cross at the signs. Joking of course.
 
She should move to Oz where she could complain about the kangaroo crossing signs that are pretty much everywhere. FYI, they aren't as cute up close as you might think.The really big ones look like a rabbit on steroids.
