-Headed up Hale Brook late on Sat night, light snow and mud on the lower section. A few inches deep higher up but microspikes not necessary.
-Lend-a-hand to twinway had one blowdown, was expecting much worse. The trail was pretty snowy/muddy/sloppy. A couple of drifts of snow forming on top of slush tricked me into plunging into some nice puddles/mud holes. Always a pleasure.
-Twinway up to Zeacliff was a mix of light snow/bare rock, but from Zeacliff pretty much at least a light coating of snow the rest of the way. One monster blowdown on the lower section of trail below Zeacliff, easily skirted. Microspikes semi-useful from Zealand to Bondcliff, mostly from near Guyot to the col between Bond and Bondcliff.
-Guyot had some nice knee deep sections of powder out in the open. Too short in duration to warrant snowshoes.
-West Bond had one blowdown, easily skirted.
-No blowdowns from W Bond spur to Bondcliff. The rock hops were a little tricky coming down off Bond (towards Bondcliff) with some of the big holes between rocks not filled in with snow yet. Very little snow/ice towards Bondcliff. And lastly no blowdowns from the hut out to the road.
