Trails: CVR, Appalachian Trail
Went up and back to the Crockers, to get in a couple peaks before the impending storm. CVR in decent shape, easily passable by my Hyundai (with care in a couple spots). The ground is definitely frozen, but there's minimal ice and snow along the whole route, a dusting to maybe 1/2 inch in spots. Wore Sportiva Nepals today, mostly because of the cold, also because of the amount of snow I've seen in pictures from the Whites. Apparently that doesn't translate to Maine. They performed well, but made for tricky foot placement in spots.
Great cold day to be out, some good eye candy from some of the viewpoints.
The full report is HERE.
