Yellow Yellow the famous High Peak Bear has Died

Sad news if you followed the adventures of this famous bear - she was shot by a hunter. We got to meet her and some of her cubs on our most recent trip to the Adirondacks. One of them tried to break into the Thule box on top of my Toyota Highlander.

20 years old, not bad for a 25 year life span.

She had also reportedly gotten more aggressive with hikers and campers, something she was not known for in the past, Winchell said
I was thinking lately she would have been put down soon anyway.

Now we can see if the kids learned anything from Mom.

    Very sad.
