Looks like another search for Dougs homemade electrolyte may be in order
An excuse for another shameless plug: :) The following should save you the search.

The primary thread is http://www.vftt.org/forums/showthread.php?4914-Long-distance-nutrition with the recipe in http://www.vftt.org/forums/showthread.php?4914-Long-distance-nutrition&p=54650&viewfull=1#post54650 (post #21).

There are some other relevant threads: search for "morton lite salt electrolyte" (without the quotes).

Briefly, it is 1/4 tsp Morton Lite salt (half potassium chloride and half sodium chloride) and 1-5 tbsp of table sugar (sucrose) per liter of water. A minimal version uses just the Lite salt. See the above thread for details.
