Huge blowdown on Kate Sleeper trail

Hi, I've heard two reports of a huge blowdown near East Sleeper, causing people to lose the trail. What is caused by hurricane Sandy ? I know for sure it wasn't there last winter. Any chance the WMNF or the AMC will clean up that trail that is not much used (I guess) anytime soon ?
 
Neither the USFS nor AMC are in the habit of clearing blowdowns in the winter. While an individual may cu out a blowdown, a large one will likely remain until late spring. If this is an AMC maintained trail, the pro trail crew will be through to remove it in early June.
