Date of Hike: February 4 2013
Trail Conditions: Hard packed snow, a little fresh powder from the night before and ice.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes the entire way. I carried snowshoes, never used them.
Comments: The side path to Gibbs Falls is very icy, I fell, be careful. Weather was 12F at the parking lot. Very windy at the summit, my meteorologist hiking buddy is saying -20 a the summit. Below treeline temps were fine, no issues. To cold to hang at the summit so we took a few pictures and left.
