30 years since Dickey Lincoln was canceled

I expect many of the newer folks on the site havent heard of Dickey Lincoln. When I was in high school it was a hot topic. For those who are fan of Hydro Quebec, realize that Dickey Lincoln was a very small project compared to the the proposed HQ dams. I think a lot of the rational 30 years ago was that Dickey Lincoln was out in the woods far away from the folks who used the power.

I believe the Nature Conservancy now owns some of the land that would have been flooded.
