North and Middle Tripyramid via Pine Bend Brook & Tripyramid Trails

Trail packed out from Kanc Trailhead to Middle Tripyramid - Sabbaday, Scaur Ridge, Tripyramid beyond Middle Tri and to North Tri slide unbroken after this week's snowfall. 12" of cement like snow below 2500' then 12-15" of new powder above. All of this over a firm base. 10 open stream crossings on PBB Tr before Wilderness sign - not too difficult but many required snowshoe rock hopping. Met 7 others. We and most everyone else wore snowshoes the entire way. A couple of barebooters made some nasty postholes at various points but we were able to fill some of them where the snow was soft. All in all a great day.
