We were hoping to take Brandi the Wonder Mutt up her 3rd 4000 footer, but the -24 wind chill at the summit of Mount Liberty, made us decide to wait for another day, so instead we decided to visit a couple of the remaining Fire Towers on the NH Fire Outlook Tower Quest. We hiked up to the one in Blue Job State Park (#10), the one on Green Mountain (#11) and revisited the one on Warner Hill.

Blue Job State Park was a nice short hike to the tower, we ended up taking a loop to get back to the parking lot. The trail was well packed and a bit icy in spots. We did bare boot it the whole way, but light traction would have been better. There is still over a foot of snow on the sides of the trail as indicated by the depth of some postholes. The trails were easy to follow. There was plenty of room to park in the parking lot.

Green Mountain was a little longer hike and we did use light traction the whole way. We parked where the road was gated. The trail was well packed, with some icy spots, but with the traction we had no problems. The tower is one of the taller towers that we have been to and the views from the top were great. The winds on the other hand were not so great, but we imagine they were better than what we would have had on Liberty.

Warner Hill's Fire Tower gave us no problem getting to it. We parked at the gated road. The views from this tower are limited due to the fact that the two upper levels are not accessible.

All in all in was a great day to be outside, four more towers to go. We're not picture people we take video, we do have a video posted on YouTube, if anyone is interested to see our day.

Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed the video. We vowed to give up lists after we completed the NH48, but here we go again...NH Fire Lookout Tower Quest, Views and Brews, 52 with a View, The Terrifying Twenty-Five and we're taking the new Pup up all the NH48 again. :D
